This is a re-release model of the Honda CR250R moto cross bike. It went
on sale originally in 1982. The model depicts the 1981 version of the
Honda CR250R, a revolutionary bike that broke new ground for the
Japanese giant as it was their first production model in the 250cc class
to use a liquid cooled engine. In fact, it inherited much of its design
from the RC250M, which was champion in the 1980 All Japan Motocross
Championship, including Honda’s unique Pro-Link mono-shock suspension
that provided the progressive damping necessary on tough motocross
surfaces.
